The drop as a shape is found in nature. As water; it is volatile but also life giving, you need it, but if you don’t hold properly on to it, it can slip right through your fingers. As blood; it is an essential part of living and humans’ search for contact and relations as part of a herd. As I grow older I experience that I have less time to drink from the cup of friendship but also fill others. And that friendships one cannot maintain flow away. There is something bittersweet in realising that one no longer has time to maintain the friendship one made in one’s youth.
